Meet Our Principal

Michelle Nizen

Dear Bryden and Fairmount families,

I am so excited to be joining the Fairmount and Bryden staff!  It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the new Principal of Bryden Elementary School and Fairmount Early Learning Center. I am honored to join the exceptional Beachwood City Schools community and be a part of your child's educational experiences.  

I am looking forward to partnering together this school year and sharing your excitement as we watch our students learn and grow each day. I am committed to cultivating and promoting our tradition of strong academic programming, diverse and rich cultural experiences, a love of learning for all students, and a dedication to nurturing the whole child. As an educator, I bring with me 21 years of experience in early childhood and elementary education/administration, as well as a deep belief in the power of strong relationships between school, home, and community. I am passionate about creating a warm, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every child feels seen, valued, and inspired to learn and grow each day.

At both Bryden and Fairmount, our youngest learners take their first steps into a world of discovery, curiosity, and connection. I am committed to supporting our talented teachers and staff as we foster a foundation of academic excellence, social-emotional development, and joyful learning together alongside the partnership of our parent community.

Whether your child is just beginning their journey at Fairmount or continuing to thrive at Bryden, I look forward to partnering with you to ensure each student’s educational experience is positive, meaningful, and filled with learning and growth to meet their fullest potential.
